As international, commercial, and civil space activities beyond GEO become more frequent, a clear need is emerging for DoD operators to have access to orbit visualization, orbit determination, catalog maintenance, and situational awareness beyond GEO, specifically in cislunar space. These unique orbital regimes are challenging for traditional orbit analysis tools to effectively support due to multi-body dynamics causing non-linear behavior which requires unique simulation and estimation configurations compared to Earth orbit operations. The opportunity presented in this proposal is for the Air Force to benefit from commercial investments in a software architecture, Erebus, that employs state-of-the-art software tools pioneered and tested by NASA in a highly resilient, secure, and scalable computing environment. This resulting capability will be customized for unique DoD needs and will provide access to a tool and a subject matter expert team who will maintain technological superiority in the newly important cislunar orbital regime.
