Geospatial data is often used for representing active or impending issues associated with natural disasters (i.e. flood, fire), crime concerns and other issues that would affect the safety and security of assets and personnel. This data is actively being broadcast and is available for downstream consumption. Aggregating these datasets into a configurable spatial event notification system will allow for members to be alerted when the safety and security of assets or personnel may be in jeopardy. Geospatial software is a large industry with countless solutions. Disaster analysis tools (i.e. InaSAFE), map authoring and visualization (i.e. Mapbox, Esri), are all successful geospatial building blocks. Unfortunately, the majority of these solutions cast a wide net trying to be “all things for all people” resulting in overly complex software that requires specialists to operate and interface with. Real-Time Spatial Warning Analysis and Notification (RT_SWAN) focuses on discrete functionality favoring ease of use and targeting users that don’t typically interface with geospatial soft
