Observer Analytics is an analytics platform built specifically for virtual reality training scenarios. Currently, virtual training simulations have pre-defined parameters, meaning that the simulation is built with objectives in mind, and a trainee either succeeds or fails to meet that criteria. In order to understand a trainee's actions and thought processes, instructors must physically be present and observe each student via outside monitors. There is only so much data and information you can gather when observing from an outside perspective. This creates problems due to limitations of scale and the effectiveness of instruction."¨"¨ Observer Analytics solves this problem. Our software tracks a user as they go through this virtual training scenario, capturing all of the actions that they are performing along the way. Our software integrates directly into training simulations via drag-and-drop plugins for the two market-leading game engines, Unity and Unreal Engine. Our plugin allows development teams to auto-capture over two dozen metrics and provides a simple way to add any additional custom events specific to each training scenario. Data is then sent from the simulation to our platform for analysis and visualization.
