The goal of the On Demand Resupply (Airdrop) program is to enable operators to seamlessly request a resupply, track the payload and find the landing location all while operating in an austere, off-grid environment. Somewear plans to enable this by modifying its existing commercial applications and ATAK plug-in to support the operational needs of the end-user as well as interface with the relevant systems involved with airdrop such as JPADS. Success of this program will not only increase operator safety but also increase the probability of mission success by ensuring a reliable means to procure the needed supplies in an efficient manner. This effort will additionally support Somewear in providing its commercial customers the ability to access drone deliveries in off-grid environments.
