The purpose of this SBIR is to develop a comprehensive wide area threat detection capability for military installations, that is autonomous, and utilizes a dynamic set of multi modal surveillance products, to provide autonomous mission planning and threat detection information. This SBIR will leverage advanced deep learning algorithms to provide a rich set of threat detection capabilities, based on state of the art COTS sensors, which can be used for practical and cost effective deployments to achieve these goals. Phase I will result in a sophisticated yet easy to use autonomous threat detection deep learning based software tool, which will help users (e.g. security and other base personnel) select a threat vector and site specific details, and automatically provide the user with specific guidelines of equipment placement and usage to achieve the stated mission. McQ is uniquely qualified to develop this autonomous threat detection system (ATDS) given its rich set of state of the art unattended ground sensor (UGS) products and related deep learning experience, and excellent track record of successfully developing fielded prototype systems within in the constraints of an SBIR program.
