The Air Force (AF) relies on myriad sources of imagery and GEOINT data, both government and commercial, to support warfighter and command decision making. However, the daily take is such that the AF, and Department of Defense (DoD) broadly, suffers from data overload. CrowdAI's machine learning technology enables the AF and DoD not only to leverage all of this data, but to analyze it rapidly to provide near-real-time situational awareness, rather than leaving it on the cutting room floor. To remedy similar data problems in the commercial market, CrowdAI created cutting-edge machine learning (ML) algorithms to automatically detect features from imagery and video collected by satellites, aircraft, drones, and other platforms. Where change occurs due to natural or man-made causes, CrowdAI can apply their algorithms to more rapidly track and understand this change.
