Wafer has developed a 5mm thin electronically steerable array (ESA) antenna which enables global communications for combat command centers or disaster response. This Phase 2 SBIR project will create a low profile, light weight, very low power satellite terminal that can be vehicle mounted to deliver local broadband connectivity. Wafer has over 50 patents-pending, and the Wafer antenna has been through commercial testing and has been demonstrated on both Echostar and Intelsat satellites.
