The Air Force is not immune to the loss of knowledge when employees transfer out of an organization. This challenge as stated previously is become more common place with aging workforces and reductions in staff and aging weapon systems. What is needed in the modern workplace is a method to transfer knowledge between workers that reduces knowledge losses and eliminates training differences between trainees. The solution must also provide a repository for training materials in case of uncontrolled loss where a new employee may not have the ability to train with the most experienced individual. To solve the immediate challenge of the loss of knowledge in the workforce, the Sabel Systems Technology Solutions LLC (Sabel)'s overall goal of the program is create a Virtual Repository of Critical Knowledge (V-RoCK) using commercial data capture and authoring tools (PTC's Waypoint) and host them in a cloud based video repository for quick access by workers. During the Phase I, Sabel proposes to validate the product-market fit between the proposed solution and a potential USAF stakeholder and create a demo training video using PTC's Waypoint training capture software.
