Augmented Reality is being used in a myriad of applications across a wide breadth of industries. Air Force application ranges from digital remote assistance for flight line mechanics, pilots, and technicians to emergency response and the like. This allows the airmen to access critical data, share what the see, and communicate effectively. Using intuitive hands free hardware and software, our application allows data visualization, asset interaction and object recognition enabled overlay to ensure safe, effective, and error-free execution of routine or infrequently performed tasks. Commercially, Goldman-Sachs predicts that extended reality technology (Virtual and Augmented Reality) will be a 180 billion dollar industry by the year 2025. Currently, companies like BMW, ExxonMobil, John Deer, and others have applied XR tech to training, risk mitigation, and human performance processes. Our current contacts uniquely position us to penetrate the market in a positively disruptive and value added way.

Augmented Reality is one of the foremost technological solutions to many of the problems in the workplace. Currently we rely solely on our eyes to diagnose and solve problems. We at 3D Media will solve this by creating software for existing AR Safety Glasses to give flight line mechanics the ability to function with an Augmented Reality (AR) Heads-Up Display (HUD) and parts recognition to increase productivity in the workplace. By utilizing this technology, we can improve safety, accuracy, and speed of any job undertaken. Using intuitive, hands-free hardware and software, our application allows data visualization, asset interaction, remote assist, and object recognition enabled overlays. Our focus is to allow airmen to access critical data, share what they see, and communicate effectively, so that they can complete the mission. 3D Media’s solution can apply to flight line mechanics, pilots, technicians, emergency response and the like.
