Learn 2 Win is an interactive, mobile learning platform used by top football and basketball teams to train their athletes. Current clients include the University of North Carolina, University of Michigan, Stanford University, University of Notre Dame, many other NCAA programs, and over 400 high schools. Leadership of the Air Combat Command (ACC) Training Support Squadron (TRSS) has expressed interest in using the Learn 2 Win platform to enhance initial qualification training and continuation training. Through the Stanford Hacking for Defense Program, we conducted 107 interviews with members of the US Air Force to identify shortfalls in current training processes. Based on these interviews, we identified that current training materials lack the functionality and accessibility to generate efficient and effective learning, and a test of the Learn 2 Win platform was conducted at Beale and Tinker AFB to determine its sufficiency in bridging those gaps. Building on the successful tests, this Direct to Phase II research project intends to conduct a thorough analysis of the software's impact on training effectiveness, further develop the training software, and adapt the platform to the Air Force use case in collaboration with ACC TRSS leadership and personnel at Beale and Tinker AFB.
