Avocado Systems developed, patented and produces the Avocado Security Platform (ASP) that employs an innovative approach to Application Security called Pico Segmentation. The ultimate goal of ASP is to protect applications and data in data centers and clouds. Existing Cyber perimeter defenses combined with internal behavioral monitoring defenses and external identity-based solutions such as two-factor identification are inadequate to protect applications and data in data centers, cloud and hybrid architectures. The exponential expansion of C4I requirement and the drive to cloud infrastructures to provide more responsive and flexible architectures only adds to the complexity of cyber security and with more complexity and potential vulnerabilities. One of the primary challenges with existing cyber defenses is their dependency on probabilistic detection based on libraries of known threats, signatures or behavior patterns. Avocado Security Platform (ASP) introduces an entirely new approach to threat detection based on deterministic detection executed in Real Time via our Virtual Run Time Application Security Protection (vRASP) and our patented approach to Application and Data Security called Pico-Segmentation. Avocado will demonstrate its ability to deliver unsurpassed application and data security inside of data centers, cloud and hybrid architectures through an extensive test program on a representative operational AF architecture.
