We propose to develop a novel compact, low power and high performance ladar/radar synthetic aperture data acquisition and processing module optimized for use in external electro-optic airborne pods. By leveraging state-of-the-art low power CMOS semiconductor commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) technology with a modular and scalable system architecture, we propose to develop a digitizer/recorder/processor SWaP platform that combines - in a single hardware platform - synthetic aperture radars (SAR) unique wide field of view (FOV) surveillance capability with synthetic aperture ladars (SAL) extremely high-resolution narrow FOV region of interest imagery.SAL,SAR,lidar,Radar,FPGA,ADC
