Project objective is to build an Alert Management System that would send out high priority alerts to Airmen of the 50th Space Wing (50th SW) Combat Development Division quickly and securely. This solution would be applying what is currently available to the public in terms of near instant communication to a broad group (Twitter, Instagram, etc.) and applying a layer of security to it for use in a private organization like the Air Force. Using our teams prior experience with past commercialized solutions, we will be able to tackle the major difficulties of distributing the notifications quickly and security while maintaining a simple and intuitive end user experience that will require little to no training to get started. Once proven that this works for the high level of security that our armed forces need, we will be able to commercialize it by offering similar solutions to private companies that need quick and secure internal communication while developing proprietary products of their own in this competitive age that we live in.
