The overall objective for the proposed Phase I effort is to demonstrate the feasibility of a multispectral physics-based projector for displaying visible and infrared correlated imagery for daylight and night vision goggle training stimulation. This projector system, if developed, would have the ability to simultaneously project normal human-visible spectrum scenes as well as low-energy near-infrared scenes intended to directly stimulate NVG (night-vision goggle) devices.
