Phase I

Contract Number: ----------
Start Date: ----    Completed: ----
Phase I year
1994
Phase I Amount
$54,100
Commercially available high-shock solid-state recorders are useful but have limitations that restrict fuze development testing. This effort will focus on deducing the size, increasing the operating temperature range, and increasing the programming flexibility of a recorder for fuze testing. A design approach is proposed utilizing a microcontroller for programming flexibility and a custom semiconductor for reducing size. Software will be developed for recorder programming, data retrieving, and data displaying.
