The Company's core skill is identifying leading edge technology from the defense and other high-technology sectors, and applying it to critical, emerging fish resource management issues. The Company's mission is to become a world-leading supplier of technology-based tools to meet the needs of the world's changing fisheries. The Company was founded in San Diego, California in 1992, and moved to Anchorage, Alaska in 1995 to be closer to the US's largest fishery. The Company successfully brought several products to the commercialization stage and many others products to prototype and is streamlining the transition of product development from R&D to commercialization. SciFish has a broad range of computing and sensing equipment ranging from GPS units and broadband sonar systems, to cameras and CTD's, providing a complete development environment for a wide range of product development activition.
