Public Profile

Since December 2007, Health Hero Network, Inc. has operated as a subsidiary of Robert Bosch GMBH. Health Hero Network develops and markets a technology platform for remote patient monitoring. Leading health care product and service providers provide programs based on the Health Hero® technology platform to communicate with, educate, and monitor patients with a variety of conditions including heart disease, diabetes, respiratory disease, mental health, and post-acute care. The company also is licensing its platform to medical device and pharmaceutical companies seeking to enable new service and revenue opportunities from disease management or to enhance clinical research. The company's web-based application services enable customers to improve the productivity and effectiveness of care management by automatically risk stratifying and triaging patient data according to disease management protocols. Patients engage in a dialogue with caregivers and respond to daily questions about symptoms, behavior, and knowledge via the Health Buddy® appliance, an easy-to-use communications device. Patients also will be able to communicate with caregivers using a variety of third party Health Buddy enabled devices, including medical devices, personal emergency response sytems, and interactive television systems. The Health Hero technology platform enables caregivers to rapidly identify changes in a patient's health condition, focusing attention on those in need of intervention, a factor that has a tremendous impact on reducing healthcare spending while improving quality of care.
