Public Profile

Before acquisition of the firm by St. Louis-based Engineered Support Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: EASI) in 2005 Prospective Computer Analysts, Inc., specialized in applying state-of-the-art software and technology to the complex task of testing electronics and electrical systems. With DOD support to include Phase III contract funding, the firm developed the software tool Expert System for Test Software Quality Assurance (ESQA). Subsequent improvements in system readiness afforded by ESQA, led to is use to analyze test software for nearly every major DoD weapons system including the U.S. Navy’s F/A-18 and Trident Submarine, the U.S. Air Force’s B-2 bomber and F-15 Attack Eagle, the Army’s AH-64 Apache Helicopter, and the U.S. Marine Corps’ AV-8B Harrier. In addition to these military systems, ESQA was also being used to reduce costs and improve the quality of test software for commercial avionics and aircraft.
