During their SBIR involved years, firm was known as Lanxide Corporation based in Newark DE and was focused to development of novel approaches to fabrication of ceramic-reinforced composte products. Later enamed VoIPCom USA, Inc. (Ticker Symbol - VCMU) the firm shifted focus completely to providing Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) communications solutions by leveraging Internet infrastructure and IP communications devices to provide low cost, crystal clear calling solutions worldwide. The firm's phones work very much like standard telephones, but rather than using phone lines, they connected through computer USB and Ethernet ports to establish a communications channel through the Internet. By April 2005 the firm was reported as having minimal operations and is assume out of business.
