AIL Research, Inc. has for many years functioned as an R&D laboratory structured around develop of novel energy technologies. A more recent effort has been to transform the firm into what is usefuly understood to be a technology commercialization company bringing new energy products to the market. Having a strong commitment to making the world a cleaner, healthier and more sustainable place to live, tAIL organizes around efforts to include efficiency air conditioners that use liquid desiccants, thermal desalination systems that use plastic heat exchangers and low-cost solar thermal collectors that produce steam. The firm is a leader in advanced liquid desiccant technology. Though not currently broadly applied, liquid desiccants are useflly understood as addressing many of the issues that now challenge the HVAC industry as it attempts to create healthy and comfortable indoor environments using technologies having much lower carbon footprints. The AIL website is designed to introduce to interested parties both to AIL Research and the potential for liquid desiccant technology.
