LSI is a spatial data management firm, serving national mapping and defense agencies with object-oriented geospatial software solutions. LSI is an active supporter of Open GIS Consortium standards and has participated in key OGC initiatives. Originally established as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Laser-Scan Ltd, LSI managers completed a successful management buyout in 2002. In the same year, LSI expanded its service offerings to include cartographic production services. LSI has implemented an ISO 9001:2000-compliant quality management system.
