Glas Ocean Electric USA LLC (GOE) is proposing to build an Ocean Of Things Maritime Sensor Data System (MSDS) called PerforMarine. This device will take data from the operation of a vessel and through in situ analysis using proprietary machine learning (ML) prediction models, estimate a range of parameters. GOE has a growing database of vessel measurements that include power, speed, motion, emissions, noise, meteorological conditions, and more. Using the database to train the ML model, GOE can produce a software package that can operate on handheld devices and produce data specific to the operation of the vessel. This data can be augmented by using the future GOE modular expandable hardware system. By collecting data through a range of modes, locations, and devices GOE is in a position to expand the database through cloud storage of all collected data.
