Public Profile

In December 2017 CustomArray, Inc. was acquired by GenScript, a leading contract research organization specializing in biological research and drug discovery/development and now operates as a subsidiary of Genscript Biotech Corporation. organized around providing products and services to the genomics marketplace. CustomArray had been a leading provider of oligonucleotide pool libraries to many of the world’s premier academic and industrial organizations for applications including synthetic biology, gene synthesis, CRISPR, targeted sequencing, complex DNA libraries, shRNA libraries, and DNA data storage. CustomArray can provide instruments such as the B3™ Synthesizer that uses semiconductor arrays to rapidly synthesize DNA arrays “on chip”. The firm also provides pre-made arrays and arrays that can be read either using standard fluorescence chip readers (one-color or two-color readouts) or can be read using electrochemical detection on our ElectraSense reader. CustomArray also offers extensive services, using its platforms to measure gene expression, to measure microRNA expression, to identify aptamer sequences (DNA sequences that bind with high affinity to customer-provided proteins), to identify potent siRNA sequences against select targets in vitro and validate the function of these targets both in vitro and in vivo, to provide large pools of oligos for specific applications such as sequencing, as well as other services.
