SoftKrypt LLC is a software research and development company focused on encryption, application security and related technologies. With the flexibility allowed on today’s software applications, digital IP can be stolen much easier than ever before. SoftKrypt has developed blackening technology that works at the level of source code, converting portions of it to work in an alternate coordinate system through systems of non-linear algebraic equations, protecting the source code from being reverse engineered. This technology is able to identify the client program’s state variables and rewrite them in unsolvable equations that depend on external values provided, which can come from biometric devices, GPS coordinates, altitudes, passwords or any other type of external condition specified. Even an opponent viewing the source code cannot reverse engineer or make the program run properly without the proper credentials. With any increase in computation, there will be an increased offset in performance. SoftKrypt has developed their technology to apply to the most critical parts of the client application. By focusing Blackening technology only on those pieces that must be protected, end users or other applications will notice very little performance changes. The firm’s in-house blackening engine works on C, C#, and C++ applications. It is fine-tuned to accept external variables then create non-linear equations to protect the code. These equations can have smaller numbers of computations and protect your code for years or for maximum protection and a small performance tradeoff, can protect IP for the forseeable future.
