With facilities in California and Arizona and an R&D Center in Singapore, Contour Energy Systems, Inc. - also previously dba CFX Battery - engages in the development, manufacture, and commercialization of primary and rechargeable battery systems. It offers primary lithium carbon fluoride battery systems in coin cell, cylindrical, thin film, and prismatic form factors; and standard and customizable rechargeable battery packs for cross-industry applications. The company also provides 3D lithium coin cell batteries through 3D TV retailers, as well as online. In addition, it commercializes and licenses its lithium carbon fluoride battery technology portfolio. The company's products are used for consumer, transportation, government defense, medical, industrial, portable electronics, and specialty applications. Contour Energy Systems, Inc. has a strategic investment and technology development agreement with In-Q-Tel; and a strategic partnership with Schlumberger. Formerly known as CFX Battery, Inc. in March 2010, the firm changed its name to Contour Energy Systems, Inc. The firm is leveraging breakthrough battery advancements created by some of the leading research centers and universities from around the world to deliver its initial next-generation carbon fluoride chemistry system. This system is being applied to advanced primary batteries in a wide variety of form factors for numerous applications spanning multiple markets.
