Fathhome Inc develops a dry-sanitizing device that sanitizes clothes, wearables, and any equipment without using water, detergents, or chemicals. The device is the size of a medium trash can and uses air pressure and ionization to decontaminate viruses and bacteria. The company was founded with an initial focus on an alternative to laundry systems, however pivoted during the Covid-19 pandemic to provide healthcare workers with a safe and rapid decontamination method of PPE and other personal items. The device, title Mona, has been found to remove 99.999999% of the Covid-19 virus on N95 masks.
