Public Profile

MSNW LLC is developing advanced concepts in the areas of plasma technology, fusion physics, nuclear engineering, and space propulsion. These technologies can increase the operational capabilities of spacecraft in traditional roles and enabling more ambitious missions. Furthermore, MSNW's cutting edge research into advanced nuclear fusion technologies has the potential to produce competitive commercial energy generation. In terms of space propulsion, the company's Electrodeless Lorentz Force (ELF) thruster family has demonstrated operational power levels ranging from 100 Watts to 10 MW. In the fusion energy space, the company's Inductive Plasmoid Accelerator (IPA) demonstrated efficient heating and compression of high energy Deuterium plasmoids to fusion conditions. This technology is capable of being applied to energy generating applications and has been licensed for commercial development.
