5-D Systems is a technical services and solutions company sspecializing in systems and software engineer for unmanned, manned, and optionally piloted aircraft / aviation systems along with providing technical, logistics, and management support for military systems and project offices and major defense contractors. In February 2016 5-D Systems had been acquired the Swedish firm Adnode Group and was no longer SBIR involved. In November 2020 it was reported that the firm had been acquired again for an undisclosed amount - this time by the larger US based firm Kratos Defense and Security Solutions (NASDAQ:KTOS) in the business of providing mission critical engineering, IT services, and war fighter solutions.
