Cbana Laboratories is focused to commercialization of adsorbents and microfluidic and microanalytical devices originally developed in the laboratories of Professors Masel and Shannon at the University of Illinois. Cbana Laboratories is developing novel adsorbents and microanalytical devices for the capture and analysis of pollutants, drugs and other dangerous materials. Technologies include: * Banasorb revolutionary series of a metal organic framework based adsorbent for pollutant capture and analysis in homes, businesses and the government. * MicGC, a MEMS based sensor system for the detection of drugs and dangerous materials in air and in breath. * The microfluidic components to allow the devices to work: o MEMS based pumps and preconcentrators for gas sampling o MEMS based microvalves for flow control o MEMS based separators to largely eliminate false positives in sensor systems
