Originally located in Camden, NJ, - a spinout of Drexel University - Drakontas later re-located headquarters to Blue Bell PA. The firm's early work organized around support of soldiers serving in Afghanistan and Iraq. Principals of the firm soon saw applications for developed technologies in the public safety space - first responders - here at home. Aso provided is Smyle, an application for Android phones and Web browsers that allows users to form social collaboration groups to chat, view one another's location on maps, and collaborate through shared photos, images, and maps; and LABFx, a Web-based forensics information exchange platform that facilitates real time collaboration and enhances workflow across the criminal justice system.
