In July 2010, Radiation Assured Devices Inc was acquired by Aeroflex and is now known as Aeroflex RAD. The firm uses commercial and specialty technologies to provide state of the art radiation hardening and qualification services and radiation hardened products for commercial, avionics and military spaceborne electronics with the highest levels of reliability and radiation assurance. Aeroflex RAD has extensive experience in the relatively unique and specialized field of single event effects in electronics. This experience has led to the development of a library of hardware and software techniques that help to reduce the cost and time required to successfully complete an SEE test. Aeroflex RAD’s Tests can be designed to evaluate: Single Event Latch Up (SEL); Single Event Upset (SEU); Single Event Transients (SET); Single Event Burnout (SEB); Single Event Functional Interrupts (SEFI); and Single Event Gate Rapture (SEGR). SEE Testing of memory devices, including NAND, SDRAM and DDR, can be efficiently performed using the firm’s FPGA based test solution
