Public Profile

Usefully understood as the first commercial spacecraf trefuelling services, in collaboration with several other parties, Orbit Fab is addressing the task of removing barriers for commercial use of in-orbit materials. Focused initially on products and services that have immediate demand, the effort is to establish an in-orbit fuel depot, materials stockpile, and trading market. Relocated from San Francisco to Lafayette CO. in 2021, th firm is among the first to supply water to the International Space Station - an achievement in itself - but also a useful demonstration of the viability of the firm's technology for use in orbital satellite refueling. The capacity to refuel satellites could have major impact on the commercial satellite business by extending considerably the operating life of expensive satellites, Also sctructured around supporting UK Space Agency, Orbit Fab will Clear Space's debris removal datellites with refuleling capabilities.
