Public Profile

With facilities in Spokane WA - location of NASA award - but headquartered on Austin, TX, HyperSciences Inc described itself at s a platform technology company organized around using the power of extreme velocity radically to create better solutions for drilling, tunneling, energy, and transportation but also now extended to working in aerospace, and in materials production. By creating an extensive portfolio of patented and patent-pending hypervelocity technologies HyperSciences has developed HyperCore, one of the world's fastest, simplest, and most efficient commercial launch systems. The firm is utilizing artificial intelligence robotically to loads and fire objects accelerating to velocities greater than Mach 5. The firm has been inpartnership with Shell Energy to demonstrate this disruptive technolog - using low-cost chemical energy to accelerate consumable projectiles to hypersonic velocities, allowing projectiles upon impact to break and pulverize hard rock faster, deeper, and through a wider range of conditions. The firm is using the same HyperCore technology to create the Hyper Tunneling Boring and Mining system (HTBM) - effectively replacing conventional tunneling methods which typically are slow, and significant capital expense. The NASA SBIR contract awarded to the firm in 2018 is structured around applying the same key components of HyperCore's automated system to launch payloads to high-altitudes at extreme velocity -ptentially lowering the cost for hypersonic vehicle development and also offering a new type of stealth program.
