In the business of making reusable launch vehicle technology reliable and affordable, the organzing principle of GoHypersonic Incorporated (GHI) is the development and testing of hypersonic air breathing technology. GHI's current research programs primarily include the study of hypersonic propulsion-airframe integration and scramjet engine development. With much of te firm's fcus on work development of engine and vehicle designs from a flowline perspective, this can involve a mix of fast-turn-around design methods closely coupled to high-fidelity Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations. As the firm's research goals and computation tools advance, the team is moving towards vehicle and engine design methods involving coupled high-fidelity CFD, thermal-structural analysis and multi-disciplinary optimization. GHI is also involved in several ground test experiments involving hypersonic engine and vehicle components and is actively pursuing the development of a flight-testing capability.
