Predictive Biology is a research stage company structured aroud identifying novel pathways/targets for drug discovery purposes: developing novel stem cell technologies designed to enable the uncovering the genetic basis of variable drug response. Principals of the firm conduct genetic screens using 3D in vitro models produced from genetically diverse mouse and human stem cell lines. Current CNS projects use cerebral organoids and single cell RNAseq to investigate antidepressant mechanisms of action, identify modifiers of cytotoxic edema and understand population response to environmental neurotoxicants. Predictive Biology Inc is also exploring aspects of population genetics to bring to light causal variants of disease.
