ARDE is an AS-9100 registered small business, that designs and manufactures high performance spacecraft and missile propulsion components compliant to MIL-STD 1552A, EWR-127-1, SAE/AIAA S-080 and S-081, and ESA standards. The firm's core products are: * Metal lined Composite Overwrapped Pressure Vessels (COPVs) * High Strength All-Metal Pressure Vessels * Positive Expulsion Propellant Tanks * Surface Tension Propellant Tanks * Pressure Vessel Support Structures. Integration of propulsion subassemblies, using our precision cleaning and orbital tube weld capabilities, augments our core product activity. ARDE fabricates metal tanks and structures in Aluminum, Inconel, Steel and Titanium alloys. Our Composite Fabrication, with subcontractor support, includes wet filament winding, pre-preg winding, or hand-layup of pre-preg materials. Carbon, Kevlar, E-glass and hybrid laminations are fabricated depending on the requirements of each application. Primary structural bonding is performed with film or mixed adhesives. Industry unique tooling and processing enhance bond performance above that realized using standard aerospace practice.
