Protometrix, Inc. is a biotechnology company in the development and application of proprietary integrated proteomics technologies to improve human health. Technologies are based on the pioneering protein microarray work of Professor Michael Snyder of Yale University. The core capabilities of the company include both production and investigation of the function and interaction of thousands of proteins in parallel using nanoscale technology and collection of all of the information in a state-of-the-art informatics database. In addition, this database is a valuable predictor that provides direction in experimental design. the firm's technology allows definition and study whole proteomes (the entire complement of proteins produced by an organism) of any species for the first time.
