Dynamo Micropower is developing a 10kW class gas generator (genset) that will significantly reduce the levelized cost of energy (LCOE) for the upstream oil and gas market. By implementing a novel ultra-microturbine architecture, we will displace conventional reciprocating engines by leveraging our intrinsic strengths of fuel flexibility, reduced total cost of ownership (TCO), uptime and superior emissions. Our novel architecture enables us to build an engine that will be cost competitive with existing reciprocating engines. Our ability to bring cost reducing features to the market while maintaining a comparable price point with incumbent technology will allow us to dominate our entry market.

The initial target market will be enabling applications in the upstream oil and gas industry. However, the engine platform we have developed has many sustainable advantages which can be applied to various markets, such as robotics and remote distributed generation, bringing clean power to the next generation of people who have yet to be connected to the grid.
