NanoFrames is a limited partnership biotechnology company. Our goal is to develop an enabling technology for the manufacture of specifically functionalized nanoscale architectures. These one, two and three-dimensional architectures will be constructed using self-assembling proteins. By modifying the protein subunits we can rationally design the size, shape and specific doping of the final structures. These protein architectures are the basis for materials with unique properties and for frameworks supporting specific arrays of other functional elements. We foresee immediate uses of these protein based structures in reinforcement, separation and material design technologies.
