Materion manufactures specialty materials for thin filmdeposition and semiconductor packaging applications. The company offers packaging materials, such as lids, bonding wire and ribbons, electrical contact alloys, solder alloys, and thermal management and custom clad; and thin film materials, including PVD products and engineered materials. It also offers refining and recycling services, such as material characterization form, material management, sputtering target recycling, and production material services, as well as plating solutions. The company serves semiconductor, wireless, photonics, data storage, hybrid/micro electronics, memory, performance films, and optical markets. It has manufacturing locations in Buffalo, Wheatfield, and Brewster, New York; Santa Clara and Buellton, California; Albuquerque, Milwaukee, Wisconsin; China; the Philippines; Limerick, Ireland; the Czech Republic; and Singapore.
