Adesto Technologies is the leading developer of CBRAM - a resistive RAM memory that is built in standard CMOS process. Adesto has developed commercial CBRAM memory devices since 2007 and will sample its first product to customers - a 1Mb EEPROM at the end of 2010. Adesto proposals to research the possibility of a RAD Hard device for aerospace applications that can replace DRAM or SRAM and offer up to 1B writes.

Benefit:
CBRAM is much lower in power and faster than Flash technology. In addition CBRAM can operate at below 1V. CBRAM is CMOS compatible which allows it to be easily integrated with other logic devices (e.g. Microcontrollers and ASICs).
