Public Profile:
Chase Scientific specializies in advanced high speed analog and digital communication channels for the magnetic storage industry. The firm first entered the computer based instrument market in 1989 by introducing the world's first complete PC-based Oscilloscope family of add-on cards designed exclusively for the IBM compatible PC. Each oscilloscope system included a single add-on card and a full graphics interface package (GUI) with automatic test capabilities. Bandwidths ranged from 10MHz to 100MHz. This product family was phased out by 1997 in favor of new custom OEM designs which focused solely on the Embedded Instrument Market including High Speed Data Acquisition and Signal Generation. The firm now offers commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) digitizer/generator solutions for a variety ofapplications from 10 MSPS to 1.0 GSPS in PC/104, PC/104-Plus, ISA, PCI, VME, VXI, and CPCI platforms. Chase Scientific also offers custom expertise covering a wide range of technologies including high speed digital/analog design, discrete and custom analog IC design, digital ASIC design, and custom filters. Software design capability cover DOS, Win31/95/98/NT, both at the driver and user interface levels.
