Tanner Research Named One of Los Angeles' Fastest Growing Technology Companies by Deloitte & Touche

PASADENA, Calif., August 14, 2000 - Tanner Research was named to the impressive Deloitte & Touche "Los Angeles Technology Fast 50" list, a ranking of the 50 fastest-growing high-technology companies in the area. Tanner Research, Inc., a leading microelectronic technology company was named to the list in recognition of its outstanding growth over the past five years. Tanner Research, Inc. designs custom integrated circuits (ICs) and supplies IC design software and services worldwide. The company has made the "Fast 50" list for three years in a row.

To qualify for the "Los Angeles Technology Fast 50," companies must be in business for a minimum of 5 years; must not be a subsidiary or division; must have 1995 revenues of at least $50,000 and 1999 revenues of $1,000,000 or more; must be headquartered in the area (Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Riverside, or San Bernardino county); must be considered a "technology company" which is defined as a company producing technology, manufacturing a technology related product; being technologically intensive or using unique technology in problem-solving, or devoting a high percentage of effort to research and development of technology.
