DALLAS, TX -- May 1, 2012: Red River Military Systems, Inc. exclusively offers a unique Ramjet technology for Army Field Artillery weapons that enhances Warfighter operational flexibility. This breakthrough technology is four times more efficient than solid fuel rockets and uniquely provides Ramjet power in static or stationary operations.
The Grossi Aerospace Statistically-Operated Ejector Ramjet (SOERJ) is a unique propulsion system that replaces solid-fuel rockets to achieve extra-long-range precision fires. This air-breathing, liquid-fueled Ramjet propulsion technology provides insensitive munitions (IM) compliance, a smokeless trail and an electronics-friendly launch.
"Our technology opens the possibility for very-long-range fires support in lieu of close air support," said Fabio Grossi, vice president of Red River Military Systems. "It is the ONLY technology that can achieve the GMLRS Increment IV Extended Range (250km+ Vertical Attack and 300km+ Ballistic Attack) requirement within the budget requirements of the Army."
The US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has granted the SOERJ technology patent number 7,954,329.
"This technology brings a paradigm shift to the Army because it alleviates the need to reach Mach 1 speeds before operation," said Howard Choate, president of Red River Military Systems. "This amazing breakthrough technology provides ATACMS weapon range with GMLRS cost."
