Eccalon, a leading research and technology commercialization company, has partnered with New Life Fellowship International Ministries to help over 1,000 families who have been negatively impacted during these challenging times. Together, they are proud to announce that on June 12, 2020, at 10:00 AM, they will host a food distribution event to provide food for 1,000 families in need. Additionally, they will also host a pop-up COVID-19 testing site on Monday, June 15, 2020, at 10:00 AM to test 100 people. Both events will take place in the parking lot of Eccalon's headquarters located at 1333 Ashton Road, Hanover, MD 21076.
Giving back and helping those in need are core values for both organizations, so it is with a grateful heart and welcoming spirit that they invite families to join them on these days. When asked about this event, André Gudger, CEO, remarked: "All families in the community are welcome because no one should go hungry or lack access to COVID-19 prevention. Eccalon is a dedicated member of this community, and we will host more of these community-based events in the coming weeks."
Similar sentiments are shared by Bishop Shanklin, whose ministry is built upon the idea that growth can only happen when you join a circle of people who all strive together: "Our message is simple -- we grow not in church rows but within community circles. New Life's DNA is people strengthening, especially in partnerships with community-conscious companies like Eccalon."
With the $10,000 donation from Eccalon and their partnering with New Life Fellowship, as well as The Center of Transformation, UBC, and Arundel County Partnership for Children, Youth, and Families - Eccalon will provide needed food services and essentials within the Anne Arundel County community.
