PRLog (Press Release) - Aug. 21, 2013 - DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- AbM Engineering (http://www.abmengr.com/), a Central Florida firm providing contract services to resource-constrained companies, recently delivered the necessary manpower to qualify a Volusia County, Florida manufacturer for a $60,000 contract requiring “super-fast”, defect-free delivery of lift equipment to a major customer.

AbM’s know-how provided Superior Handling Equipment of Ormond Beach (FL) an affordable way to expand its engineering team at a critical time in the bid process. Utilizing reverse engineering and animation tools, AbM stepped in and immediately provided the support required to allow Superior Handling to win the award, avoid delivery penalties, and significantly reduce the potential for costly liability issues had the product not met the ultimate customer’s expectations.

“Superior Handling Equipment has used AbM Engineering on several occasions for design work, troubleshooting and mechanical engineering solutions,” said Peter DiLella, president and CEO of Superior Handling. “The company is very professional and thorough in the completion of their work. Their expertise has assisted our staff in solving problems that have been beneficial to both Superior and our customers.”

“So many companies struggle to hire resources for specific projects, never knowing whether they made the right hiring decision, or whether there will be enough follow on business to justify adding permanent headcount. Investment in additional equipment to capture new business is often not practical. The wrong action can be incredibly costly,” said Magdy Attia, president of AbM Engineering.

“We solve those issues by plugging in as a temporary engineering department or by serving to supplement an existing engineering team,” Attia continued. “Companies save time and money by getting the expertise they need ─ when they need it ─ so they can focus on finding new business and handling the ups and downs of manpower needs. We’re the perfect solution.”

AbM Engineering has established a reputation for offering value-added services (http://www.abmengr.com/#!/545/how-we-work) such as:

Identifying and reviewing technology concepts
