Public Profile

In June 2013 it was announced that Zaption had been acquired by publicly traded human-capital management software company Workday.Term were not disclosed. The announcement included notice that Zaption would close down operation September 30. Zapion had been working in the online learning space enabling teachers and trainers to use Zaption’s web tools easily to customize existing content, or build their own. Zaption tracked all student activity, providing teachers get immediate, actionable data to make informed instructional decisions. Teachers, trainers, and content publishers used Zaption’s web app to quickly add images, text, quizzes, and discussions to existing videos from YouTube, Vimeo and private video libraries. The result is an interactive video lesson that transforms video from a "lean back" experience to an engaging "lean forward" activity. With Zaption’s analytics, instructors get immediate feedback on how students interact with the content and understand key concepts. Zaption’s web platform turns online video into interactive “learning tours” that can be privately shared with students via a simple link or embedded in any learning managem
