Z Lens LLC is a privately held, self-funded corporation, whose mission is to develop fully-functioning accommodative-disaccommodative Intraocular Cataract Lenses (IOL) models (AD-IOLs) alone or in collaboration with other IOL manufacturers. The firm also aims to restore accommodation for patients undergoing cataract surgery, to develop an effective surgical cure for presbyopia, and to develop a successful refractive procedure alternative for young pre-presbyopic patients with significant refractive errors.
