WiGLWireless-electric Grid Local Air Networks -- is a new technology designed to send targeted energy through the air. A novel concept, "Wireless Electrical Grid LAN" (WiGL) is envisions a wireless network for electrical power transfer, similar to how WiFi networks transmit data. The WiGL objective is to provide a touch-less, wireless means of powering and charging devices, eliminating the need for physical cords and plugs. Technology of this type would use wireless far-field energy transfer to create peer-to-peer networks, allowing for the routing of power between devices.
