Public Profile

WaterBit Autonomous Irrigation Solution (AIS) enables control of local irrigation taking into account growth stage, soil conditions and weather at a level of granularity and accuracy that is not possible with current methods. WaterBit translates technology into tangible value for growers to improve yields, optimize water usage and implement labor-saving strategies The firm's patent pending, wireless, moisture sensor is 1/10th the TCO of alternate solutions, while measuring 1600X the soil volume. Additionally, unlike capacitance and TDR based sensors, it works in any soil type – including amended soils and potting soils. In addition to the WaterBit moisture sensor, the firm also implement above-ground sensing systems to provide a comprehensive view of the farm. All Waterbit sensors are easy to install, easy to maintain and provide real-time soil moisture and temperature data, which the firm integrate with imaging, weather, soil, and crop data to create recommendations and alerts that are tightly focused on the growers real needs.
